Emacs happens to have that capability built in – the &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/emacs/Window-Convenience.html&#34;&gt;winner-mode&lt;/a&gt; package, what a surprise!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
